Description
The series includes material from the investigation, letters, testimonies, versions of the events and newsletters. The material refers to the period beginning with Shcharansky's arrest on 15.3.1977 to the announcement of the verdict on 14.7.1978. The case consists of 52 volumes and is kept in the central archive of the FSB (Federal Security Service of the Russian Federation). The archive deposited in the National Library of Israel contains copies of only some of the material.
