תצלום צבע של רחוב בן יהודה בירושלים, ממזרח למערב. בחזית התצלום נראה נער מוכר עיתונים, אוחז בידו גיליונות של השבועון "העולם הזה", עומד לצד בניין סנסור, סמוך אל כיכר ציון. משמאלו, נראית רעיית הצלם, בטי לוין (בגבה למצלמה). על פי עדותו של הצלם, תצלום זה נעשה בחודש אפריל או מאי 1948, בימי המצור על הבירה, לאחר הפיצוץ ברחוב בן יהודה. صورة ملونة لشارع بن يهودا في القدس من الشرق باتجاه الغرب. في واجهة الصورة يظهر فتى يبيع الصحف ويحمل بيده أحد أعداد المجلة الأسبوعية "هعولام هزي – هذا العالم" ويقف بجوار مبنى صنصور بجانب ميدان صهيون. إلى يساره تظهر بيتي لافين زوجة المصو (ظهرها للكاميرا). بحسب شهادة المصور، التقطت هذه الصورة إما في شهر نيسان أو في شهر أيار عام 1948 خلال حصار مدينة القدس بعد تفجير شارع بن يهودا |
