Description
The file contains correspondence concerning appeals for Torah Scrolls and their export to various synagogues in Israel and India. There is also an announcement from 1963 inviting participants to attend a burial ceremony for eight Torah scrolls that were burnt in a fire in the Eastern Jewry Synagogue, Ohel David, in Stamford Hill on April 21, 1963.
