The file contains:;a) two copies of a portrait medal, one in silver, one in bronze, by Ph. Gengembre, diameter 25 mm each. On the obverse a bust to right, aroud the inscription: Ant. Laur. Lavoisier. On the reverse the inscription: L'an 9 Ph. Gengembre essayait de perfectionner les monnaies. On the edge: A la patrie. Aux sciences.;b) a bronze medal by A. Dupre, diameter 42 mm. On the obverse a bust to rightm around the inscription: A. Laur. Lavoisier né à Paris le 16 Aout 1743, below the bust the artist's name. On the reverse the inscription: Les sciences et la patrie pleurent cet illustre savant mort victime des fureurs revolutionnaires. Dupré lui à erigé ce monument de reconnaissance l'an 10.;c) a bronze medal by M.&W. St. (Mayer & Wilhelm, Stuttgart), diameter 50 mm. On the obverse a bust to right, around the scientist's name. On the Obverse laurel leaves.;d) a bronze medal (very brass-stylish) by Caqué, diameter 50 mm. On the obverse a bust to left, around the scientist's name, below the bust the name of the artist. On the reverse an inscription with biographical data: Né à Paris 1743. Membre de l'Académie..., around laurel leaves.
