The file contains:;a) a copperplate of a portrait by Vander Gucht, showing Hankwitz in an oval frame, below a vignette depicting chemical instruments, 14 x 21 cm. Script around the portrait: Ambros. Godfrey Chym: 1738. Subscript: Phosphor: Urens igne suo. Vivens, Explorans. The print was glued on a paper basis.;b) a copperplate of a portrait by R. Schmutz (pinxit) and Geo. Vertue (sculpsit), showing a half portrait of Hanckwitz, 15 x 22 cm. At the bottom a mythical landscape with phoenix rising from a vulcano and a minig scene, as well as a garden with a deer. Subscript: Natura regna instar Phoenicis per ignem reviviscunt. Hac Amititiae tessera Fautoribus, valedicit Peregrinaturus Ambros. Godfrey Hanckwitz Chym. ad Phoenice Londini.
