The file contains:;a) an autograph letter of four pages written in Paris on 25 March 1779 to Giovanni Fabbroni, written together with Hilaire Marin Rouelle concerning the methods of Bryan Higgins and experiments of Bergman with diamonds.;b) Extrait des Registres de l'academie Royale des Sciences du 17 mars 1787: a handwritten text of 25 pages describing the black dyeing method of Dimo Stephanopoli, signed at the Louvre by Cadet, Cornette, Beaumé, and D'Arcet. This handwritten copy was approved on 9 May 1788.
