The man is sitting on a chair; he is richly dressed with a traditional outfit composed of an antari (robe) tightened with a belt, under a kaftan lined with fur. Her wife, standing apparently at his right, looks at him and lays affectionately her right hand on his shoulders. She is elegantly and decently dressed with a traditional outfit composed of an antari, a sleeveless dressing gown, under an apron adorned with flowers. She also wears a bolero, called capitana, which covers her shoulders and partly her chest. Her hair forming two braids, is closed in a cofia (headdress).
