בכתב היד: ערכים בסדר א"ב ומראה המקום למקורם, ודרשות שונות. בראש כתב היד: "מנוחת שלום עזרא חייא ידידיה בן שלום לחמי" (3א). בדף 22א: "ש' תרכ"ח חמשה לחודש כסלו יצאתי מעיה"ק טבריה ת"ו ובאתי לעיה"ק עכו ... ומשם נסעתי לעי"ת בירות ... ובאתי לעיר נא אמון ... נסעתי אל הכפרים דאמנהור וכפר אלזיית, ומשם באתי לעיר מצרים, ובשישה לחודש ניסן נכנסתי לשרת פה מצרים בת"ת ללמד את בני ישראל". בדף 26ב: "שיר ... סידרתיו אני הצעיר עזרא חי' לחמי לכבוד מע' הגביר המנוח סי' שמואל רובינו נ"ע אשר בנה האסכולה של ת"ת ... וניגנו אותו התלמידים עים המלמד שלהם שיודע בניגון סי' שאלתיאל הי"ו ... בשנת תרכ"ח לפ"ק היא שנה ראשונה שנכנסתי בה לאסכולה". השיר פותח: "עם זו סגולה, שמעו בשיר ותהלה, לאל גדול רב הממשלה". בדף 32א: "ובזה פי' הח' המ' מסעוד בנימין הי"ו". בדפים 58א-62א: "שערי עזרא" על מעלת המחדשים בתורה. בדף 141ב: "דרשתי לתשלום החודש ליל ר"ח ניסן תרמ"ד לפ"ק ע"ן האשה הנלב"ע בק"ש זהרה דקודסי נ"ע, בת אחותו לבכור אליהו חכים ואחות שמואל לוי, אשה שניה להמנוח שבתי קודסי". ועוד שם: "דרשתי ע"ן האשה הנלב"ע במבחר ימיה אשת יעקב מייאס ש' התרנ"ה". בדף 149א: "דרשתי ע"ן יעקב לומברוזו נ"ע יו שבט ש' התרמ"ה". בכל המקרים הללו אין את הדרשה עצמה, אלא הכותרות בלבד. בדף 151ב: "מכ"י מהר"ש חזן ר"מ דעיר נא אמון".
