חתן: ג'יורג'יו חיים בר חזקיה הכהן כלה: איליזה בת [המנוח?] יעקב גבריאל טריאסטי נ"ע עדים: דוד בר יצחק מורפורגו, אלישע חיים בן המנוח משה זקמקטו ז"ל. Bridegroom: Giorgio Hayim bar Hizkiyah ha-Kohen. Bride: Elisa bat Yaakov Gavriel Trieste. Witnesses: Elishaʻ Hayim ben ha-manoah Mosheh ..., David bar Yitshak Morpurgo. Marriage contract, manuscript, ink on paper, dated 7th of Shevaṭ 5643 at Padova (1883, January 15). The ketubah is rectangular in shape. The text is enclosed in several printed borders in a lace design. Benedictory blessings can be found on the four sides of the middle border. The colors of the decorations are green, beige and red. Since the groom is a Cohen the upper right hand blue shield contains two hands in the benediction gesture. The red shield on the upper left hand contains a heron with a fish in its beak.
