Notes |
In Portuguese. Dated 29 December 1658 from officers of the Jewish Community of Pisa. Signed by: Dr. Fonseca, Jacob de Abram Sulema and Selomo Sadiq de Leon. The letter appears to have been written by Dr. Daniel de Fonseca. This contradicts what Friedenwald had written in his entry: he thought Dr Fonseca's first name was Antonio (Rodrigo).
