זיהוי המחבר, רב יעקב אמושט, על פי שו"ת מהרלב"ח סוף סימן קה, בו מתייחס בהרחבה לפירוש זה ומזכיר את שם מחברו. נמצא גם בכ"י אוקספרוד Hunt. 597 (קט' נויבאואר 625) ועיבוד שלו בכ"י אוקספורד אופ. 44/4 (קט' נויבאואר 617.1). קיצור מקיצור זה נדפס בס' מעשה רוקח, ויניציאה-ליוורנו תק"ב-תרכ"ג, ונדפס בסוף משנה תורה לרמב"ם, חלק זמנים, מהדורת ר' שבתי פרנקל. כה"י אינו שלם, ודפים רבים בו פגומים. כולל את הפירוש מסוף פרק ג עד פרק טו. פרקים ו, ז, ט, י, טו אינם שלמים. המפרש מכנה את הרמב"ם - "הגאון": "והגאון ביאר זה היטב ..." (13ב). הוא הכיר את פירוש הרמב"ם למס' שבת מתלמוד בבלי, שרק שרידים ממנו הגיעו לידינו, ומצטט ממנו חלקים חשובים (2א). מזכיר את רב האי גאון, את הרי"ף ואת רש"י. בביאורו משתמש המפרש לעתים במלים ערביות להסברת מושגים ושמות כגון "הצרי הוא הקרוי בלשון ערבי דהן אלבלסאן" [BALSAM] (5ב). נושא נוסף: תלמוד בבלי פרשנות נושא נוסף: הלכה. פוסקים The National Library of Israel Jerusalem Israel Ms. Heb. 2507=8 סימני מים (דפים 13, 17 ועוד): BRIQUET מס' 3741 משנת 1443. |
