  • מילות השיר מתוך תפילת "אהבה רבה", הנאמרת לפני קריאת שמע של תפילת שחרית. השיר כלול בתקליט של שלמה קרליבך, "והער עינינו", משנת 1970. השיר זכה לפופולריות רבה בקרב עם ישראל בארץ ובתפוצות, ומושר גם בהקפות של שמחת תורה. הלחן התגלגל גם לרוסיה והותאם לשיר הרוסי "נולדתי על הגבול" מאת רודולף פוקס, בביצוע הזמר ארקדי סוורני.
