The poscard based on a black and white photo and they added it colors. In the photo there is the nave and on the sides there are aisles. The ceiling is flat and the separating walls are arched. At the end of the nave tere is the magnificent Mahrab - the prayer direction to Mecca. Near the Mahrab there is a very big oil lamp hang from the ceiling. El-Aqsa Mosque: commonly refers to the southern congregational mosque located in Jerusalem. Jerusalem came under the control of Muslims in 638. The building currently in existence is a result of different stages of construction and renovations.
