Title חתונה בקלנסואה.
Scope and content בתיק: תצלומים שצילם דנצ'ו ארנון בשנות ה-80 של המאה עשרים, במהלך טקסי חתונה מסורתיים בכפרים ערבים-מוסלמים, בדואים וצ'רקסים. חתונות יהודיות וחתונות נוצריות עיקרן טקס דתי. בכפרים ערביים-מוסלמים או דרוזים היו נערכות חתונות מסורתיות כמעט ללא מרכיב דתי, אבל עם המון פולקלור. ביום החתונה, עם שחר, מתאספים הקרובים של החתן להכנות לקראת החתונה. אחד הזקנים מופקד על קליית הקפה ובישולו. מספר גברים שוחטים את הכבשים, עיזים או עגל ומפרקים את בשרם. מביאים כלי בישול גדולים (לרוב רכוש כלל תושבי הכפר) ונשים מבשלות את הבשר, בורגול או אורז ואת הלָבָּן - גושים של גבינה מיובשת שאותם משרים במים ואחר כך מבשלים. את הלבן יוצקים כרוטב על גבי הבשר. הכּוּבָּה מוגשת לצד המַנסָף (בשר על גבי מצע של בורגול או אורז). הכנת הכובה מספקת תעסוקה לרבות מנשות המשפחה והמקורבות, ומהלך העבודה מלווה בשירים מיוחדים לאירוע זה. השתתפות של הרבה אנשים בהכנות לחתונה מחזקת את הקשרים והמחויבות בין אנשי הכפר.
