Istoria evreilor din Transilvania (1623-1944)

Relates that Jews first settled in Transylvania in Roman times (2nd-3rd centuries). Antisemitism developed there in the 18th century. Pp. 282-317 describe attacks against Jews beginning in the 1920s in Cluj and Timişoara, the anti-Jewish laws, aid given to Jews who fled from other countries to Transylvania during the Holocaust, the establishment of ghettos, and the deportation of 131,633 Jews to Auschwitz (out of a population of ca. 200,000 Jews before the war).
