Die Judendarstellung in der deutschsprachigen Erzählprosa (1945-1981)

Enlarge text Shrink text

A study of Jewish characters in the literary works of fifty non-Jewish German-language writers shows the unconscious influence of their anti-Jewish cultural tradition, contrary to their conscious intentions to present Jews in a more realistic and positive light. The characters emerge as negative stereotypes. (From the Bibliography of the Vidal Sassoon International Center for the Study of Antisemitism - The Hebrew University of Jerusalem)
