Enlarge text Shrink text

Examines the rise of radical ideology in Hungary after 1867. Argues that Jewish radicalism was a reaction to antisemitic manifestations in Hungarian society. The Jewish radicals, especially Oszkar Jászi and the periodical "Twentieth Century", supported complete assimilation as a solution to the "Jewish question".
