Linda Marie Fedigan, (born 1949) is a Canadian-based American primatologist. From 2001 to 2015 she held the position of Canada Research Chair in Biological Anthropology and Primatology at the University of Calgary, Alberta. Prior to accepting her current position, Fedigan was a professor at the University of Alberta, teaching anthropology from 1974 until 2001. In addition, Fedigan served as Executive Editor of the American Journal of Primatology (2004–2007) and held numerous editorial positions with a variety of primatological and biological anthropology journals, served on the Advisory Council for the Wenner-Gren Society, and hosted numerous national and international conferences. Fedigan was nominated as a Fellow of the Royal Society of Canada in 2005 and elected in 2016.
