The Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) is the training college and professional association for general practitioners (GPs) in Australia. The RACGP is responsible for maintaining standards for quality clinical practice, education and training, and research in Australian general practice. The RACGP has over 50,000 members across Australia, including almost 30,000 Fellows and over 6,000 trainees. The RACGP develops resources and guidelines, advocates for GPs on issues that affect their practice, and develop standards that general practices use to ensure high quality healthcare.
