PK was born in Khust, Czechoslovakia in 1927. The war years were spent in Khust Ghetto, Auschwitz concentration camp and Ravensbruck concentration camp. She was then sent to forced labor at the Heinkel Werke, a major defense contractor for the Nazis. At the time of the interview, she was a housewife living in Israel.
