Raoul Wallenberg 1912-1947
BookJM was born in Budapest, Hungary in 1943. He has one younger sister. In 1948 he and his immediate family immigrated to Kansas City, USA. In 1969, JM met his wife. Her father was born in Russia and came to the USA in the early 1900's. Her grandmother was born and raised in New York. JM's wife is an unaffiliated, even antisemitic Jewess. As a child of Holocaust survivors, JM speaks of the emotional and psychological diffiuclties and regulations that marked his upbringing. The interviewers, Donald and Audrey, lived in Germany for two years (1975-1977) in order to interview Germans who were born just after the Holocaust.
