He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Peace in 1980 ; Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, premio Nobel de la Paz en 1980, fue detenido en abril de 1977. Estuvo secuestrado en la la Superintendencia de Seguridad Federal perteneciente a la Policia Federal Argentina y luego en la Unidad 9 de la Plata. Relata sobre las cruces svásticas, leyendas antisemitas y agravios hacia judíos en los lugares de cautiverio. Menciona especialmente la labor de Marshall Meyer y de Herman Schiller. Adolfo Perez Esquivel señala la creación del Movimiento Ecuménico por los Derechos Humanos. Asimismo expresa que las instituciones como DAIA o la Iglesia Católica no se involucraron en la cuestión de los derechos humanos. Menciona que supo de la Familia Graiver en su primer lugar de cautiverio. Por otra parte, cuenta que la comunidad judía de Estados Unidos y de otros países como Holanda o Francia se ocuparon de lo ocurrido en la Argentina. Termina la entrevista explicando el impacto de la Doctrina de la Seguridad Nacional.
