Discusses encounters with D.Ps and Holocaust survivors, in Europe, 1944: Jewish tombstones as pavement for Church; searching for Jews; helping Jewish women escape German hospital, 1945; establishment of 'Eskin House'- organization to help survivors in Stuttgart; collecting ammunition for Jewish Brigade to send to Israel; forced evacuation of buildings, apartments, to be turned over to house surviving Jews; bribing officials to get ammunition to Jewish Brigade; contacting U.S. relatives of survivors; religious services; finding Torahs; burials for Jewish American soldiers; Jewish doctors and dentists helping survivors; Jewish Welfare Board; 'Vaad Hatzalah'; soldiers keeping Kosher; bringing Jews from Thieresenstadt to Stuttgart and Frankfurt-on-Mein to reclaim homes; work with Judah Nadich; discovery of map of concentration camps.
