UNED Born in Miechow, 1910. Graduating high school in Cracow. Clerk. Marriage and relocation to Katowice. Leaving before the war for fear of local hostile population. Relocating to Cracow with daughter and rescued thanks to boarding house owner acquaintance. At the end of the war great demand for professional manpower and thus accepted as secretary in Cracow Jewish Committee. Committee helping those in need, and also serching for lost relatives and places of employment. Sources of funds allocated to taking Jewish children out of Christian families in considerable amounts of money received during the war for expenses of childrens' upkeep. also funding Jewish police that contributed to feeling of security in post war chaos. Deterioration in inner relations within organization due to competition between different factions and parties.
