Newcomers' hair and side-locks forcibly cut. Yemenite Mapai repesentatives objecting to Yemenite olim joining religious parties. Daily life and absorption process in immigrant camp. Disappearance of newborn baby from children's house and unfulfilled promises of his return. Relocation to Elyashiv transitional camp, 1951-1952. Enlisting in the Israel Defense Forces. Relocation to Emek Hefer transitional settlement, 1953-1954. Struggle between Histadrut and religious parties. Activities for promotion of religious education. Losing job due to membership in Hapoel Hamizrahi. Establishment of enquiry committee to investigate disappearance of Yemenite children.
