Katherina Senesh or Katherina Szenes (1896-1992), mother of the parachuter and poet Hannah Szenes, was born in Hungary in 1896. After Hannah's excecution, Katherina made an Aliyah and worked for commemorating her daughter's character and achievements. Her personal collection includes correspondences of Katherina with her family members and different people regarding the commemoration of her daughter and the Hungarian Jewish Holocaust in general, the history of the family, memoirs and different documents regarding to Hannah Szenes's honor and memory.

Biographical summary קטרינה סנש, אמה של הצנחנית והמשוררת חנה סנש, נולדה בהונגריה בשנת 1896. בשנת 1919 נישאה לעיתונאי והמחזאי בלה סנש, להם נולדו שני ילדים גיורא וחנה. לאחר הוצאתה להורג של חנה סנש עלתה קטרינה לארץ ועשתה רבות להנצחת דמותה ופועלה של בתה.
