Scope and content הסדרה כוללת תצלומים שצלם דנצ'ו ארנון באירוע חג העלייה לשמים של אליהו הנביא בתאריך 2 באוגוסט בשנים 2012, 2013 ו-2019 במנזר מר אליאס, הצופה על בית לחם ועל מדבר יהודה, מוקדש לאליהו (אליאס בערבית) הנביא. כנראה שבימי הביניים נקבר במקום נזיר בשם אליאס - אליהו ביוונית, וכך נוצרה המסורת שכאן נח אליהו הנביא כשברח מאיזבל לבאר שבע. במקום יש דירת שרד של הפטריארך היווני-אורתודוקסי, שכן המקום שוכן במחצית הדרך בין ירושלים ובית לחם, וכאן היה הפטריארך לן בימים שהיה רוכב על סוס מהעיר העתיקה לכנסיית המולד. אליהו הנביא קדוש במיוחד לנוצרים. ישוע מזכיר אותו כבן דמותו של יוחנן המטביל (מתי י"א 14, לוקאס א' 16-17). עבור האורתודוקסים הוא הפרודרומוס, "הרץ לפני", המקדים ומבשר את בוא המשיח (מלאכי ג' 23), מקביל ליוחנן המטביל שהקדים ובישר על ישוע המשיח. עלייתו השמימה מטרימה את עלייתו השמימה של ישוע ועל כן הנוצרים חוגגים אותה. האורתודוקסים חוגגים במר-אליאס ב-2.8.
