חטיבת הוידאו בארכיונה של רנה שינפלד כוללת תיעוד מוסרט נרחב לפעילותה של רנה שינפלד, בעיקר בפורמט של וידאו ובעיקר במסגרת פעילות תיאטרון מחול רנה שינפלד - חזרות בסטודיו, הופעות בישראל ומחוצה לה, סיורים של הלהקה ושל שינפלד בחו"ל, סרטי הפקה שנעשו עליה, ראיונות ומשדרי טלוויזיה שלקחה בהם חלק וכן סרטונים ביתיים של אירועים אישיים ומשמעותיים בחייה. חומרים אלה הצטברו ונשמרו על ידי שינפלד בין השנים 1960-2018. בארכיון רנה שינפלד ניתן למצוא קטעי וידאו ואודיו נוספים שנרשמו בו. כיוון שקטעים אלה הגיעו מיוצרת הארכיון הועברו כקבצים דיגיטליים, הם אינם מופיעים תחת חטיבת הוידאו אלא בחטיבות האחרות שבארכיון הנוגעות ליצירתה. חטיבת הוידאו מכילה אך ורק חומרים שהועברו בפורמטים שונים של קלטות ודיסקים, וכן קטעי אודיו ספורים שהועברו גם הם בפורמט של קלטת שמע.
