Biographical summary Louis Lewin (Tuchel, 1850 - Berlin, 1929) was a German-Jewish physician, toxicologist and pharmacologist. He published a number of books in his field and tought at the Berlin Charité and the Technical College.
Ownership history The collection was permanently depostied at the National Library in 1938 by Lewin's widow, Clara Lewin. In 1976, the collectuion was transferred to the Friedenwald collection, but remained uncataloged. In 2020 the collection returned to the Archives department.
