האוסף כולל גלויות מהחזית במלחמת העולם השנייה וכתבי יד של שתי יצירות מאת המשורר. ספר אחד המוקדש לחברו אשר שטארקמאן, וספר שני הדן בנסיעה לאוטונומיה היהודית בבירו-ביג'אן. הספרים לא הודפסו במשך חייו. מבחר מתוך יצירות אלו אכן פורסם ב-1969 וב-1981 ע"י העיתון "סאוועטיש היימלאנד".

Biographical summary עזרא פינינבערג (Uman 1899 - Moscow 1946). היה משורר ופעיל טריטוריאליסטי בעת צעירותו. התגייס למפלגה הקומוניסטית בקייב ב-1920 ומאז שימש דמות מעצבת באומנות הרשמית הסובייטית. פעיל בקבוצות המשוררים הפרולטריים הקרובה לאיציק פעפער ובעיתונות של המפלגה. חבר מערכת "די רויטע וועלט" שהופיעה בקייב. התנדב להילחם בחזית בעת המלחמה ב-1941, שוחרר עקב פציעות, ונפטר בעודו מאושפז ב-1946.
