Biographical summary
שמואל טולקובסקי היה אגרונום, מחלוצי הפרדסנות בארץ ישראל. נולד באנטוורפן, בלגיה, בשנת 1886. בשנת 1911 עלה לארץ ישראל. בימי מלחמת העולם הראשונה שירת בצבא בלגיה, ואחר-כך בצבא הבריטי. בתקופה זו, אסף מידע במדינות בהן שהה מן העתונות המקומית, על הנעשה בחזית ארץ ישראל. שמואל טולקובסקי נפטר בשנת 1965.
