Collection of Woodcuts from Ancient Books

A collection of clippings of wood cuts from ancient German books, among them bibles, chronicles and others, mostly printed in Germany. The clippings have been sticked to decorated carton sheets, many of them numbered. According to the numbers, this collection must have been part of a much larger collection of similar itmes. The collector remains unknown.
