The collection includes correspondence of Louis Friedman, a textile industrialist from New York City, with newspaper editors, publishers and businessman. Most of this correspondence refers to efforts to compose a circular to advertise the English translation of Maimonides' The Guide to the Perplexed, by Michael Friedlaender.
