Moshe HaCohen Reicherson (1827-1903), one of the heads of the Haskalah movement in Russia and Lithuania, a translator as well as a linguist and author of several textbooks. The collection includes three volumes with Hebrew newspaper clips in which his articles and poems were published, as well as photographs of letters written by Reicherson to differet personnel.

משה הכהן ריכרסון נולד בעיר וילנה, ליטא, בשנת 1827. רכש השכלה תורנית בישיבות ליטא. היה בין ראשי תנועת ההשכלה היהודית ברוסיה, ונודע בייחוד כבלשן ומחבר ספרי דקדוק עברי. חיבר ספרי לימוד וכן עסק בתרגום מספרות העולם. בשנת 1890 היגר לארצות הברית. נפטר בעיר ניו יורק, בשנת 1903. |

האוסף הופקד לצמיתות בספרייה הלאומית בחודש אוגוסט 1946 על ידי מר אמיל רייכרסון, ניו יורק, בנו של משה הכהן רייכרסון. פריטים נוספים הופקדו לצמיתות בספרייה הלאומית בחודש אוגוסט 2023 על ידי התורם פנחס גילר (Pinchas Giller) וטרם נרשמו. |
