האוסף כולל קטעים מתוך כתבי עת שונים וגזרי עתונות ובהם מאמרים שנכתבו על ידי אברהם וייס, בנושא תוי ספר (Ex Libris) אמנות הדפוס, דפוס עברי ומלאכת הספר, ועוד. קבוצת מאמרים נוספת כוללת מאמרי-ביקורת והערכה על תערוכת תוי ספר ("תערוכת אכס ליבריס") אשר אצר אברהם וייס בשנת 1959, וכן כרזות שונות של הצגת התערוכה במקומות שונים בישראל. המאמרים וקטעי העתונים סודרו על ידי וייס בשני כרכים בגודל 22X35 ס"מ.

Biographical summary
אברהם בן יצחק שרגא וייס נולד בשנת 1898. היה אספן של דברי דפוס, ובייחוד תוי ספר (אכס ליבריס), תחום שבו התמחה וכתב על אודותיו. היה בין מקימי המוזיאון לאמנות הדפוס, תחילה בירושלים ואחר-כך בצפת. נפטר בשנת 1968.
Ownership History
האוסף הופקד לצמיתות בספרייה הלאומית בשנת 1985 על ידי בתו של אברהם וייס, גב' דליה שחק.
