Biographical summary מיללער, ש (ישעיה) סופר יידיש, נולד 25.10.1895 באוקראינה. בשנת 1912 היגר לניו יורק, בשנת 1917 יצא לאור סיפורו הראשון. מלבד הכתיבה עסק גם בעריכה ותרגום. אוסף סיפוריו הראשון יצא בקליבלנד 1921. בשנת 1922 עבר לקליפורניה שבה גם נפטר לאחר שנות חולי רבות.
