Biographical summary Max von Wilmersdörffer (Bayreuth 1824 - Munich 1903), Bavarian knight, was a well-known numismatist and functioned as an official of the Jewish community of Munich. In addition, he held the post of the Saxonian consul general for Bavaria.
Ownership history The collection was purchased from Roberta Marcus in 1976 and was previously attached to the Perles papers.
