Biographical summary רבי דוד יהודה בוים נולד בשנת 1865. חתן ר' איסרל טויבר, אב"ד נובמסטו (Nové Mesto nad Váhom - מערב סלובקיה, אז: תחת שלטון אוסטרו הונגריה). משנת 1904 דיין ומורה ואחר כך ראש בית דין בנובמסטו. נפטר בשנת 1918. מחבר הספר מנחת יהודה.
Ownership history האוסף הופקד לצמיתות בספרייה הלאומית בחודש שבט תשי"ז (ינואר 1957) על ידי מר שלמה שונמי, במסגרת מפעל "אוצרות הגולה".
