The Society for the Support of Agricultural Workers and Craftsmen in Syria and Palestine, also known as the Odessan Committee, was the body unofficially charged with the representation of the Russian Lovers of Zion, founded in 1890 to support the Hebrew settlements in Ottoman Palestine, until its dissolution in 1919. The society supervised the settling activities and handled donations and financial support to the agricultural settlements. The collection includes ten volumes of protocols in Russian of the Odessan Committee. Those volumes are handwritten, approved and signed by the society's members with their signatures.

Biographical summary הוועד האודסאי היה הגוף הייצוגי בפועל של תנועת חובבי ציון ברוסיה. הוא הוקם בשנת 1890 כאגודה רשמית, שמתפקידה היה לתמוך במושבות העבריות בארץ ישראל. במקביל לפיקוח על פעולות ההתיישבות, עסק הוועד באיסוף תרומות והעברת תמיכה כספית למושבות החקלאיות. במשך שנות קיומו נמנו על חברי הוועד, בין היתר: משה לייב לילינבלום, אחד העם, מנחם אוסישקין, ולדימיר טיומקין, מאיר דיזנגוף, שמואל ברב"ש, צבי הימלפרב, חיים אטינגר, יוסף ספיר ואחרים. בשנת 1919 נתחסל הוועד באופן סופי, בעקבות השינויים הפוליטיים ברוסיה שלאחר המהפיכה הבולשביקית.
