Biographical summary Otto Neurath (Vienna 1881 - Oxford 1945), was an influential philosopher of science, sociologist, and political economist. He belonged to the "Vienna Circle" between the two world wars. After his studies in Germany he lived and worked in Vienna, and eventually fled to England in the 1930's.
Ownership history The materials were transferred to the library by the Jewish Cultural Reconstruction (JCR) after 1945.
