האוסף כולל פרסומים של הרשימות שהתמודדו במערכות הבחירות לרשויות המקומיות, (ועדי קהילות, עיריות, מועצות אזוריות, מועצות מקומיות) ושל מועמדים לראשות הרשויות, מתחילת המאה העשרים, בישראל. בין הפריטים: כרזות, כרוזים, מצעים, עלונים, חוברות, עיתונים, מודעות מעיתונים, מדבקות ועוד. החומר נוצר על ידי מפלגות ותנועות פוליטיות שונות בישראל. אוסף כולל גם כרוזים בעד ונגד ההשתתפות בבחירות ועיתונים שיצאו בתקופת הבחירות.
