Biographical summary The Israelitische Religionsgesellschaft in Frankfurt was officially founded in 1928 as a separated, orthodox community. Already in the 19th century the group possessed its own synagogue, but continued to exist under the roof of the general Jewish community.
Ownership history The collection was permanently deposited in the National Library by Erica Weilburg from Australia in 1999.
