Biographical summary אליהו מייטוס נולד בעיר קישינוב בשנת 1892. בשנת 1921 נתמנה למנהל הגימנסיה העברית בסורוקי, רומניה, ואחר כך פעל כמחנך בערים שונות ברומניה. בשנת 1935 עלה לארץ ישראל, ובמשך שנים רבות הורה ספרות בבתי ספר תיכוניים. נודע כמשורר ומתרגם, בעיקר מרוסית, יידיש וצרפתית. פרסם גם ביידיש שירה ופרוזה.
Ownership history התעודות באוסף נרכשו על ידי הספרייה הלאומית בחודש מאי 2011.
Language Note התעודות הן בעברית, ברוסית וברומנית.
