Collection of documents relating to the history of Yemenite Jews in pre-state Israel.

The Collection of documents relating to the history of Yemenite Jews in pre-state Israel treasures letters and documents regarding the Yemenite community in Mandatory and Ottoman Eretz-Israel and Jerusalem specifically, as well as regarding to the Jewish Yemenite communities in Yemen before their Aliyah. It was made from the collection of Yaish Naddaf (1882-1964), a printer and an active member of the public affairs of the Yemenite community in Jerusalem, the collection of Rabbi Shalom Alsheikh, the chief Rabbi of the Yemenite community in Jerusalem and of the The General Committee of the Yemeni Community in Jerusalem, as well as different documents and correspondences written in Yemen by the Jewish community in Yemen itself. The collection Includes: notes and letters from the jews of Yemen to the Yemeni Jews in Eretz-Israel before the end of the British mandate, mostly from the cities: Dhamār, Sanaa, Aden, Yarim and their surroundings, Documents and letters of the Yemeni Kolel in Jerusalem (later The General Committee of the Yemeni Community in Jerusalem), most of them are from the collection of Shalom Yosef Alsheikh Documents and protocols of the Yemeni community's establishments in Mishkanoth, in Jerusalem in general and in Eretz-Israel as a whole, mostly from the collection of Yaish Naddaf.
