Biographical summary Velikovsky, Immanuel (Vitebsk, Russia 1895 – USA 1979). Physician and psychoanalyst. Moved to E. Israel in 1924. Travelled to USA for research purposes in 1939 and became professor at Princeton University. He used his rich knowledge in history, geology, astronomy, bible, physics, psychology and anthorpology in his research in order to define the chronology of mankind on the basis of cosmic events.
