Biographical summary זאב פלק, עורך דין ומרצה למשפטים, נולד בברסלוי 1923. עלה לארץ ישראל בשנת 1939. היה יועץ משפטי במשרד הפנים (1955-1965). מ- 1965-1969 שימש כמרצה בכיר למשפט יהודי באוניברסיטת תל אביב. כיהן כפרופסור חבר בפקולטה למשפטים של האוניברסיטה העברית משנת 1970. כיהן כרקטור וכמרצה במכון שכטר למדעי היהדות. היה מייסדו ועורכו של השנתון "דיני ישראל" בהוצאת הפקולטה למשפטים של אוניברסיטת תל אביב. שימש כעורכו של כתב העת "שיח מישרים". היה חבר במערכת כתבי העת Nashim ו-Journal of Law & Religion. פרסם מאמרים, ומחקרים בעניני משפט, יהדות ובנושאים אקטואלים. כן אסופת שירים וביבליוגרפיה שוטפת למשפט העברי. נפטר בירושלים 1998.
