Biographical summary יעקב פילובסקי (וילנה, 1898 - ישראל 1969) סופר ועיתונאי יידיש. ב 1923 היגר לארגנטינה שם עסק כמורה. ב 1924 עבר לסנט דייגו. במשך 39 שנות שהותו בצ'ילה הוציא ספרים וערך עתונים שונים ביידיש. עסק בחינוך יהודי והיה פעיל בחיים הצבוריים של יהודי צ'ילה. ב 1963 עלה ארצה. נפטר בישראל בשנת 1969.
