Biographical summary
מראשוני המטיפים לציונות. נולד ב 1856 סלוצק, ליטא. ב 1881 הצטרף לתנועת "חיבת ציון" ברוסיה. ב 1895 היגר לאמריקה. שימש בשנים 1901-1910 סגן נשיא ההסתדרות הציונית בארצות הברית. ב 1935 עלה לארץ ישראל. פרסם מאמרים בעתונות בעברית ויידיש.
