Biographical summary Eugen Mayer (1882 - 1967) was the last syndic of the pre-war Jewish community in Frankfurt M., emigrated later to Eretz Israel and was a close friend of the poet Karl Wolfskehl.
Ownership history The collection was permanently deposited in the National Library by Mayer's widow in 1969.
