Biographical summary ישראל איסר ב"ר זרח טויבר נולד בעיר גאלאנטא. בשנת 1853 נתמנה לדיין ומגיד בעיר חדש ושימש בה בתפקיד זה כ-50 שנה. כתב את הספר "אזרח רענן" על תולדות הרמב"ם, ואת ספר "מקור ישראל" על ר' ישראל איסרלן. נפטר ב 1903 תרס"ד.
